Classes
Here is where we will post information about new and ongoing classes!
The next session for our Apparel Sewing Level 1 Course will start in September, and after that follows Apparel Sewing Level 2 in October! We are taking the month of August off from the month long courses because my mom will be on vacation!

We also do Private Sewing lessons for those who learn best with one on one attention, or for those trying to learn a niche sewing skill! Please contact us at info@legacyfabrics.com or give us a call at (913)494-2656 to get pricing and set some up!

Beginner's Sewing Level 1
Never touched a sewing machine before? Barely held a needle and thread? Don't know the difference between jersey, denim, and satin? Then this is the perfect class for you! Here we start at the very basics from how to thread and use a sewing machine, to sewing your first seams (and project!), to learning more about different fabrics and their uses. Click below to find out more!

Apparel Sewing Level 1
Here in this set of classes we will be teaching the basics of apparel sewing. We will go into how to read and cut out a pattern. Sew our first basic garment, and keep going into fabric and sewing terminology and adding on more seam types. Click the button below to find out more!

Apparel Sewing Level 2
In these next set of classes we will start to get into more advanced sewing techniques and really work on cleaning up our finished products. Here we will learn how to adjust a pattern, fit a garment to your body, and sew with more difficult fabrics. By the end we will have a finished garment that no one will be able to tell that you made.
