How to Read a Pattern - Sewing Class

If you are trying to get into sewing your own clothes, and the only thing stopping you is learning how to read the dang pattern, then this is the perfect class for you!

Here we will be going over sewing related terminology, the techniques implied, how to read the picture diagrams, cutting layouts, how to measure yourself and select a size, and so much more! We also know that just about every pattern brand is different so we will be looking all across the board from Style Arc, to Cashmerette, McCalls, Simplicity, and others! We will have patterns provided to read from and review, but you are more than welcome to bring the one that has been stumping you to ask questions over it!

We ask that the minimum age is 8 years old - if younger we ask that an adult attends with them! Or we'd also be happy to do a private lesson! Just contact us to learn more!
