Apparel Sewing Level 2

Join us for this four part series to dig deeper into how to sew a more advanced garment with more difficult techniques! After this you will have to tell people that you made your clothes because they will not be able to tell!

In these sessions we will start with selecting a more advanced design and studying how it was made. From there we will begin to practice more difficult sewing techniques and learn to adjust the pattern to ourselves. All the while we will be learning more about different fabrics, other types of designs, and sewing tips and tricks. By the closing of these classes you will be walking out with an adeptly made fine garment. Note: during these classes there may be homework that will require use of a sewing machine.

The classes will be on Thursday evenings from 5pm-7pm and start at the beginning of the month. The next starting date and sign up for classes is tentative and please call us for more information if interested! (913)494-2656. Once full it will be marked as out of stock. We also like to keep class sizes small, so we have a total of 8 spots per class series.

Additionally, during these classes, we will provide a binder with sheets so that our students have examples of what they have learned so that as they continue to learn they can continually build upon what they have and reflect back at what they have learned.

All supplies for the projects and classes are provided for and are covered in the class cost. We also provide the sewing machines to use. However if you would like to use your own that it totally great! Just let us know and we will keep your table space open for your machine! *Please note that some select fabrics may be an extra cost.
