Classes
Here is where we will post information about new and ongoing classes!
The next upcoming course is our Apparel Sewing Level 1 from 11/7/24-12/5/24 (skips the Thanksgiving Thursday). We will be taking December off from the courses and picking it back up again in January starting back at Beginners Sewing Level 1 starting on 1/02/25 and going through 1/23/25. We will post the next set of classes closer to January after we get our bra making courses launched!
We also do Private Sewing lessons for those who learn best with one on one attention, or for those trying to learn a niche sewing skill! Please contact us at info@legacyfabrics.com or give us a call at (913)494-2656 to get pricing and set some up!

Apparel Sewing Level 1
Here in this set of classes we will be teaching the basics of apparel sewing. We will go into how to read and cut out a pattern. Sew our first basic garment, and keep going into fabric and sewing terminology and adding on more seam types. Click the button below to find out more!
Apparel Sewing Level 2
In these next set of classes we will start to get into more advanced sewing techniques and really work on cleaning up our finished products. Here we will learn how to adjust a pattern, fit a garment to your body, and sew with more difficult fabrics. By the end we will have a finished garment that no one will be able to tell that you made.
