The Shelley’s side Powerbars are a game-changer, adding lift and support, creating a youthful silhouette, and eliminating the dreaded side-boob—but they’re notoriously tricky to fit.

That’s why we’ve created this exclusive live Shelley Bra class, designed to help you achieve a great fit while learning techniques you’ll use again and again.

Who This Class Is For

This class is for bra-makers who have sewn at least one bra successfully. If you’re new to bra sewing, we recommend making the Shelley bra or the Classic bra in advance of this class. Knowing the basics will help you get the most out of this fitting-focused experience. 

Sizing

The Shelley pattern uses a unique sizing system based on the Bottom Cup Depth.  The Shelley pattern has a very large size range from 2.25 BCD to 7.5 BCD, which approximates 30A through 48H bra cups.  It can accommodate bands from 28 inches to 48 inches and can be modified beyond those sizes.  We’ll reach out to you in advance of the class to prepare for fitting.  We can’t wait for you to have a great fitting bra!

Class Cancellation Policy: Weather, Unexpected Events, and Travel Tips

Your safety and experience are very important to us. While we will do everything we can to keep classes running as planned, sometimes weather, illness, or unexpected events can cause changes. Here is how we handle those situations:

If We Need to Cancel

If bad weather makes it unsafe to hold the class, or if the instructor is unable to attend because of unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible, usually at least 24 hours before the class starts.  In these situations, the class will be rescheduled.  You’ll have three options if we need to cancel:  join the rescheduled class, work with the instructor in scheduled virtual classes, or get a full refund.

If you need to Cancel

Refunds are available until April 1st. After that, if you’re unable to attend due to illness, weather, or other circumstances, we’ll ship you the class supply kit and work with you through scheduled virtual sessions to help you achieve a great fit.

Travel Tips

If you’re traveling to attend the class, we strongly recommend booking fully refundable or flexible options for hotels, flights, and car rentals. While we hope for smooth sailing, having flexible travel plans can make any unexpected changes easier to handle.
