Hats not only top off every good outfit, but they are super easy to squeak out of some leftover fashion fabric from another project! Learn not only how to fit the hat correctly to your head size, but also how to get it hold it's shape without being too stiff! This class is excellent for the beginner who is looking to add some more skills to their repertoire, or the advanced seamstress who is wondering how to correctly shape a hat!
In this class you will receive the sized beret hat pattern, and step by step help to complete the project! From measuring your head and selecting the right size, to making sure it gets reinforced correctly for the look you want; we help you at every step to make your unique hat!
For this class we provide the sewing pattern, sewing machines, sergers, irons, cutting table, and tools (although if you would like to bring your own you are more than welcome to!). The class cost does not include fabric or thread, but you will receive a 25% discount on all supplies for the class! You will need a 1/2 yard of fashion fabric, 1/2yd of lining, interfacing, 1 yard of bias binding, and less than a full spool of thread for this project.
