Strap Edge Connectors - 1" - Gold, Silver, & Iridescent

These sturdy and bold strap edge connectors help to strengthen the connecting point of the strap to the bag. If the first part of your purse to go is the part of the strap that's folded around your D-Ring, then try these instead. You'll insert the raw edge of the strap into the connector and then tighten the screws to secure them in. You can also dab a bit of glue along the edge going in to really secure it too. They are also helpful if you are making a bag with really thick fabric and you aren't so sure your sewing machine is going to like sewing through the 8+ layers of said fabric to finish off the strap.
