This fusible stabilizer from Callie Del® will add crispness and support to your bag making, jackets, and home décor projects. This interfacing does not have any stretch and will help hold the fabrics shape for buttonholes, buttons, zippers, and pockets. One side is fusible and is shiny. The non-shiny side is what should touch your iron. It is commonly used in the lapel and collar of more structured jackets and coats.
• Use for crafts, home décor, machine embroidery, bag making, quilting.
• Easy to sew.
• Has no grain so can be cut in any direction.
• Use in placemats, director chairs, lamp shades, bags, drapery headers, and jacket collars and cuffs.
• Machine wash and tumble dry low.
• Use a dry medium iron and a pressing sheet when required.
Use Instructions:
Note* is always recommended to test the product on a scrap piece from your project before applying interfacings to the entire piece and adjust It pressing times as needed.
1. It is recommended to prewash your fabrics and garments without fabric softeners to achieve the best bond of interfacing to fabric. Interfacings do not need to be prewashed.
2. Cut interfacings according to pattern instructions.
3. Preheat your iron to a medium or wool setting with NO STEAM.
4. Place the glue side on the back side or wrong side of the materials to be fused.
5. Cover with a light, dry pressing cloth. Press and hold the iron in place with medium pressure for 10-12 seconds. Repeat by lifting the iron and placing in the next area, slightly overlapping the first until the entire surface is bonded.
6. After ironing, let the pieces cool before continuing with assembly process.
