These showstopping ribbons are as unique and beautiful as the flowers they came from! The colors are show stoppingly vibrant, and the remnants of the flowers that made them can still be seen in shape and color. These ribbons are hand dyed from home grown flowers by the talented KP Mills of Lucille's Basement in Louisburg, KS. There are two types of fabric the ribbons are made out of; a recycled silk sari and a silk organza. The silk sari is more opaque and slick, the organza is more see through and crisper, and the color becomes more vibrant once another material has been put behind it. These ribbons are sold in 2 or 3 yard segments and they do have seams in them much like bias binding does. These would make beautiful sashes, bows, or even used like lace in the french lace insertion technique.
When purchased in store, you can pick out exactly which ribbon is your favorite! When purchased online it's more of a Russian Roulette, you'll get a surprise color/pattern based off which ever selection you choose!
