Linen fabric has been used as a fiber in clothing for over a millennia. It is know for is smooth and cool texture, its breathability, and drapeability. The individual strands in linen tend to be irregular which helps to create an interesting texture. This linen is heavier than many of our other linens and is approximately a 6-7oz. The fabric has many slubs and a more grainy texture. It is not see through and is popular with making church altar linens.
