If you have only ever used rivets in bags, jeans, backpacks, or whatever else, then lay down your rivet setter and pick up your screw driver because holy cow are these things awesome. You get the function of a rivet where it helps hold down high pressure and abrasion points, but without the worry of the stress popping the rivet apart. After punching a hole in your material, all is left is to screw the two sides together for a very well polished look and long lasting effect. If you are still afraid of possible removal, then put a dab of glue in before screwing shut. These screws are positively riveting.
