Linen fabric has been used as a fiber in clothing for over a millennia. It is know for is smooth and cool texture, its breathability, and drapeability. The individual strands in linen tend to be irregular which helps to create an interesting texture. This Bright Turquoise Linen has a nice and thick slubby texture and is heavy enough for a lightweight jacket or pair of summer pants. It's not see through at all and drapes decently well.
