Boucle fabric has a soft and supple hand, yet is heavier and still retains decent drape. This is the fabric that made Chanel famous. These fabrics have a looser weave and many varied yarns, often with ribbons, metallic threads, and other fiber types woven into them. Boucles make for amazing jackets, skirts, and dresses due to their structure and ability to follow the body line.
