Black Venetian Herringbone Twill

This Black Venetian Herringbone Twill is an excellent pant weight twill with some extra added interest. The intricate weave of the chevron style herringbone helps to add texture as well as keeping the fabric from creasing. This fabric is very similar to coutil which is a popular foundation base for corsetry. This fabric is woven tone on tone, and the front and back are nearly identical. It has about the same weight as a medium weight denim, and would make a great all seasons pair of pants. It is 100% cotton so it is also super breathable! Use this to make some hiking pants, a jumpsuit like the Blanca, or some summer shorts!
