This Lennox Black Stretch Crepe is wonderfully plush and has an excellent drape. This crepe stretches like a 2-way knit, has wonderful elasticity, and could almost be used like a scuba. The threads used to weave the fabric are crinkled before it's woven which gives it just a little bit of extra stretch - hence its drapiness. These fabrics are traditionally used in formal wear for anything from bridal dresses, to prom dresses, to galas, to pant suits.
