Black Crepe Fabric

Crepe fabric is known for it's easy drape and matte colors. The threads used to weave the fabric are crinkled before it's woven which gives it just a little bit of extra stretch - hence its drapiness. These fabrics are traditionally used in formal wear for anything from bridal dresses, to prom dresses, to galas. This black crepe fabric would make a show-stopping dress with a slit or slinky cardigan.
