The areas of the plaid where the black and white cross over create a shiny silver that is just mesmerizing. This fabric has been yarn dyed so the front is nearly identical to the backside. Plus the silk slubs help to give it a wonderful texture. This fabric has a crisp and stiff drape and is not see through at all. It has a great memory and will hold pleats and volume really well.
