A wonderful party dress complete with a slip. Use scalloped lace to create beautiful and interesting neckline. The lace edge can also be used on the hem and sleeves. This pattern can be made many ways – all lace, lace yokes & sleeves with plain body, or completely plain. The choice is yours!

FABRIC SUGGESTION

For dress – Lace, Silk, Satin, Crepe or any suitable woven. For slip – stretch silk is the best or any soft woven with a bit of stretch.

  • Bust = 94 cm or 37”
  • Waist = 80 cm or 31.5”
  • Hip = 100 cm or 39.5”
  • Centre back length = 90 cm or 35.5”
  • Hem circumference = 104 cm or 41”
  • Sleeve length = 28 cm or 11”
  • Sleeve hem circumference = 31 cm or 12.2”
  • Shoulder breadth = 38 cm or 15”

TRIMS

  • Invisible zip 30 cm or 12'' long
  • 2 x hook & eye - at neck & at top of zip total
  • Under wear elastic (across back slip) 1⁄4'' or 6 mm wide - see below for length estimate
