Then this class is for you! In this class you will learn how to turn your bodice sloper into a fitted torso sloper, and then how to turn that into a blazer pattern with a shawl collar. You will also learn how to turn a sleeve sloper into a two piece suit sleeve.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter this class is over, you will have a sewing pattern for a blazer like the one pictured that is sure to fit you just right! You will also have a fitted torso sloper that is helpful for other jacket, coat, and dress patterns. You will learn about how to move darts, truing patterns, and marking grainlines. These skills will be super helpful as you continue your patternmaking journey either with more classes from Maya or on your own!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA sloper is the basic building block of a pattern. It is the starting place of how all patterns are drafted. The sloper is made to measure so that the resulting pattern fits the wearer. For this class you will need a sloper front and back bodice and a sleeve. You will also need to bring your front and back bodice slopers, and your sleeve sloper. If you have a copy of your measurements, this can be helpful to bring as well. In these situations, the class will be rescheduled.
